HONG KONG SIGNATURE Pop-Up Store

In 2023, The Time Sommelier has once again worked with Lcx designing a unique pop-up experience for shoppers at Lcx Habour City, Tsim Sha Tsui Kowloon. As the title of the concept says, this pop-up store is about signature products and brands of Hong Kong. But rather than just delivering the experience by gathering traditional products made in Hong Kong, we have strategically planned and worked with various Hong Kong brands that are relatively young but yet delivering an interesting Hong Kong story, including one of the few Gin distilleries in Hong Kong – Two Moons; a tonic water and soft drink manufacturers – Mezzanine Makers; scented candles and aroma diffuser brand – BeCandle; award-winning bottled Hong Kong Cha-Chaan-Teng style Milk Tea producer – Mount Wave and etc. Together with the brands, we have also delivered multiple sessions of weekend workshops and tasting experience.

IPPINKAN x Champagne Festival Pop-Up Store

In 2022, IPPINKAN by the time sommelier has collaborated with CRU Magazine’s annual event – Champagne Festival, and produced a pop-up store lasting for approximately 3 months at fashion walk, which is located in the heart of Causeway Bay. The Pop-Up Store showcases over 200 selections of Champagne and Sparkling Wines from all around the world, including Japanese Wine. The Pop-Up Store has also hosted over 20 Masterclasses, featuring various topics such as Introducing Growers Champagne to a Horizontal Tasting of Premium Champagne Houses like Champagne Bollinger, Champagne Charles Heidsieck as well as Champagne Lallier. Beside that, the Pop-Up Store also showcases various sizes of Champagne from 375ml to 30L bottle, as a Museum / Display area to share the culture of champagne.

Very different from the traditional architecture & vibe that we have done previously with “Once Upon a Reiwa Autumn”, The Time Sommelier has designed the concept of JIDAI YOKOCHO 時代横丁, namely a Yokocho 横丁 (shopping street) inside Times Square (時代廣場) as an installation that will remind one of the favorite travel destinations of Hong Kongers of all time – Japan. It consists of the following elements in the compound: 1) A Photo-taking spot of YOKOCHO setup ; 2) An Exhibition of Japanese Craftmanship ; 3) Retail Area Bottle Shop as well as related products ; 4) Tasting Area of Japanese Beverage (Sake, Wine, Shochu, Beer).

Once Upon a Reiwa Autumn

The Time Sommelier Ltd has presented an indoor Japanese festival experience – “Once Upon a Reiwa Autumn” Festival at Lcx Harbour City. With installations that are seen in traditional Japanese festivals and many other picture-worthy sites, local patrons are in luck to be surrounded by all things Japanese. Japanese and sake cultures take center stage, with the festival filled with fun games with prizes, workshops, and among all, a new pop-up store IPPINKAN by the time sommelier, which introduced Japanese Sake, Wine, Craftmanship as well as other Japanese lifestyle products.
